Peachtree by Sage Premium Accounting for Construction. The
Peachtree 2013 line includes an array of customer-driven
enhancements that save time around daily tasks such as
invoicing, document management, and utilizing reports and
forms.
“We’ve built Peachtree Premium Accounting for
Construction to address major pain points for small
construction firms. By including capabilities to help them
better manage their operations, from sub-contractors to
employees, Peachtree Premium Accounting for Construction can
assist them with staying on top of critical details, and
better forecast for the highs and lows of doing business,”
said Connie Certusi, general manager of accounting

specific functionality and trusted double-entry accounting

In developing this release, Sage Software worked closely
with small businesses through its Customer-Connected Design
Center to identify opportunities to enhance functionality
and introduce new features. The features and enhancements
detailed below reflect product performance improvements, and
the greater control small businesses can exercise within
Peachtree:
•Invoicing — using the new Broadcast Invoices
feature, small businesses can save time by creating one
invoice in just a few clicks, and send it to any number of
customers based on many filtering options.
•Reporting — small businesses now have the control to
customize 19 of the most popular accounting reports within
Peachtree using 100 available fields in which to add
information. The reporting improvements also include 50 new
filters, 30 new sorts and greater drill-down capabilities.
Peachtree 2013 also offers a new Transaction Detail Report
which is a comprehensive report that enables small
businesses to see key information related to any
transactions from one location.
•Forms Design —a new design screen offers small
businesses more flexibility for adding color, logos and
other information to customize the standard layout on forms
such as invoices, sales orders, quotes, etc. Additionally,
standard form layouts can be modified easily by turning on
and off fields from the transaction screen, and the changes
are automatically reflected on the printed form.
•Document Management — Peachtree 2013 includes a new
document management feature that enables small businesses to
add attachments to records such as vendors, employees,
inventory items, payroll checks, or quotes directly within
the product for better tracking and management. All file
types are supported with this feature including Microsoft®
Excel® spreadsheets, Microsoft® Word documents,
photographs and scanned files.
•Inventory — businesses with physical inventory can now
select the number of decimal points they desire up to a
maximum of five for both the quantity and unit price fields.
This feature is ideal for companies that need to track
specific unit or quantities beyond a standard two decimal
settings, allowing for a more precise representation of
their inventory and pricing structure.
•Time saving — small businesses will experience faster
transaction saving and record opening time within the
product while working in reports. Additionally, customers
who don’t require the Business Status Center or product
Navigation Screens can now permanently hide them which also
improves the time required to open Peachtree
